Anatech Electronics Introduces Rugged Coaxial Attenuators 

GARFIELD, NJ (November 8, 2011) – Anatech Electronics today introduced two coaxial attenuators that provide high performance and long-term reliability in all types of RF and microwave applications. The AM4.0AT008/2T 8-dB fixed attenuator operates from DC to 4 GHz with a maximum VSWR of 1.45:1. It handles 2 W average and 1 kW peak RF power and uses TNC female connectors. The AM2.5AT020/5N 20-dB attenuator uses Type-N female connectors and covers DC to 2500 MHz with a VSWR of less than 1.2:1. It has an attenuation tolerance better than +/-0.6 dB, and handles 5 W average and 10 W peak RF power. Both attenuators are available as standard products from Anatech’s Web store, www.amcrf.com. Anatech Electronics Introduces 2370 MHz Cavity Bandpass Filter 


GARFIELD, NJ (October 14, 2011) – Anatech Electronics today introduced a cavity bandpass filter designed for use in fixed, mobile, and radiolocation services operating in the 2370 MHz range. The AB2370B867 has a center frequency of 2370 MHz and bandwidth of 40 MHz (2350 to 2390 MHz), passband insertion loss of less than 1.5 dB, passband ripple of less than 0.5 dB, and return loss greater than 14 dB. The filter can handle 20 W CW and has an operating temperature range of -40 to +55 C. It has SMA female connectors and measures 4 x 1.5 x 1.4 in.

Anatech Electronics Introduces SMT Ceramic Bandpass Filter for GPS Systems

GARFIELD, NJ (August 13, 2011) – Anatech Electronics today introduced the AM1575B510 surface-mount ceramic bandpass filter that is designed for use in GPS systems.

The filter has a center frequency of 1575 MHz with a passband of 1564.4 to 1585.4 MHz. Insertion loss is 1.5 dB and rejection is 20 dB at 1540.4 MHz and 10 dB at 1640.4 MHz. Passband ripple is less than 0.2 dB, and return loss is at least 20 dB. The filter measures 4.5 X 11.75 X 7.55 mm and handles 2 W.

Anatech Electronics Appoints Dean Handrinos as Director of U.S. Sales

GARFIELD, NJ (July 12, 2011) – Anatech Electronics today appointed Dean Handrinos as director of U.S. sales, with the responsibility of developing new business and managing of the company’s sales activities throughout the country, including working with regional sales representatives.

Mr. Handrinos comes to Anatech from Stealth Microwave (a division of Micronetics), where he was vice president and responsible for business development and technical sales of the company’s power amplifier products. He was previously sales and marketing manager for Stealth.

Mr. Handrinos received his BSEE degree from Stevens Institute of technology and is currently working toward is MBA degree from Lehigh University.

Anatech Electronics Introduces 2 to 18-GHz Directional Coupler

GARFIELD, NJ (June 13, 2011) – Anatech Electronics today introduced a broadband, 30-dB directional coupler that is an excellent choice for use in all types of defense communications, radar, and electronic warfare systems. The AM10000DC862 has an operating frequency range of 2 to 18 GHz, coupling of 30 dB +/- 1.4 dB, and directivity of at least 20 dB. VSWR is 1.5:1 or less and insertion loss is no more than 0.5 dB. The AM10000DC862 will handle 400 W average and 3 kW peak power, and has Type-N female connectors and a female TNC connector for the coupled port. It measures 4 x 1.2 x 0.93 in.
