Duplexers & Diplexers

Duplexers & Diplexers

Anatech Electronics offers Duplexers and Diplexers in different technologies, from cavity duplexers, LC diplexers and duplexers, Ceramic duplexers, and SAW duplexers. Each technology has its advantages and disadvantages ranging from the frequency range, to power handling, size, and other parameters that are better discussed in our technical write-up on various filters and their advantages and disadvantages in Filter Design Guide.

The terminology Duplexers and Diplexers has been fuzzy since the advent of wireless communication, For the purpose of discussion a Duplexer is when two band pass filters are duplexed, meaning one common input, and two output (reverse is also correct , two inputs and one output). Usually the Duplexer will duplex a receiving and transmitting signal using two band pass filters, one common input (or output), and two outputs (or inputs), and is a three port device. A diplexer will refer to a duplexed High pass and low pass where a broadband transmit and receive is necessary, it is also a three port device with a common input and two outputs.

Our Standard Duplexers and Diplexers come from the many designs specifically manufactures per our customer’s requirements, and well as designs that were market driven. Anatech Electronics produces Duplexers specifically geared for the wireless industry, such as GSM duplexers, all bands of LTE duplexers, UMTS, GPS L1 & L2, Mimo, and all other commercial standard wireless bands.  Anatech Electronics can semi customize its existing standard duplexers, and Diplexers, shifting the center frequencies, changing connectors, and modifying the performance where possible to better meet the wanted requirements.  Anatech Electronics can provide custom solution to all your Duplexers and Diplexers needs.
